longitudinal groove rough surface hybrid pavement
Full Function Pave (multifunctional drainage pavement) is the ongitudinal groove rough surface hybrid pavement consists of a single layer mixture, whose surface has a drainage function and the lower part has a water proofing function.
A modified asphalt finisher makes the road surface rough with longitudinal grooves ensuring surface texture depth. Because of this, the pavement has freezing prevention function with rough surface whose salt retention rate is high, as the freezing prevention agent pools in the longitudinal grooves.
By using proprietary high-performance modified asphalt, this pavement has excellent fluidity and aggregate scattering resistivity as well as provides safe and secure road for all seasons by significantly improving the weakness of conventional drainage pavement. So, it is expected to be the accident prevention pavement.
Full Function Pave is best used in the following applications.
- Arterial road in cold area that needs countermeasure against road at winter time
- Sloping and curved road and entrance and exit of tunnels that need to have skid resistance
- Road whose visibility improvement (by using longitudinal groove rough surface) is required at day and night, raining, and in tunnels
- Alternative to drainage pavement, which gives the paving long life
- Crossing of drainage pavement
- Top surface layer of floor of bridge
- Road that needs to have anti-accident function
